Financials: Super Micro reported earnings of $5.59 per share in the past quarter and revenue of $3.66 billion; both were better than expected.

Home appliances company Whirlpool (NYSE: WHR) posted good financial results on Monday but fell 4.87% in after-hours trading due to a weak outlook.
Financials: Whirlpool reported earnings of $3.85 per share in the past quarter and revenue of $5.08 billion; both were better than expected.
Outlook: The problem is that the company only expects sales of $16.9 billion, which is lower than anticipated.
