Oil Climbs Amid OPEC+ Stoppage

Oil futures rose on Sunday after OPEC+ announced an uptick in oil production, followed by a pause in future hikes.

Details: The OPEC+ group, an alliance of oil-producing countries, announced Sunday that it will modestly boost oil production in December to 137,000 barrels a day, but will pause the increase in January, February, and March.

Background: The production update came amid concerns about an oil surplus, with significant supply growth outpacing demand.

Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: Oil stocks may see some support following this OPEC+ production plan due to a balanced approach in avoiding oversupply while providing steady production increases through December.

Final Thoughts: WTI Crude Oil is down more than 10% in the past year.
