Backed by Japan. Targeting Copper in Peru. Hannan Metals Is On the Move.

Hannan Metals (TSXV: HAN) is emerging as a high-conviction copper-gold-silver explorer with backing from some of the biggest players in the industry—including a $35M strategic investment from the Japanese government and support from a top-tier Canadian producer. With over 2,000 square kilometers of land in Peru and district-scale potential in a geologically rich but underexplored region, Hannan is poised to benefit from a global copper supply crunch. Shares recently broke above $1.10 on strong volume. This is one of the few juniors with real scale, strategic partnerships, and leverage to the next copper supercycle.

Bitcoin's Trade Talk Optimism

Bitcoin $BTC.X ( ▼ 1.12% ) jumped about 4% on Monday and almost reached an all-time high price.

Details: The big reason behind Bitcoin’s recent price surge is that top U.S. and Chinese officials will meet in London this week to try to resolve escalating trade tensions. If the talks are successful, then global economic uncertainty might ease, which might make investments such as Bitcoin appear less risky.

Also: Other factors behind Bitcoin’s recent rise include increased market risk appetite, successful IPOs involving crypto-related companies, and a large investor accumulating more Bitcoin.

Price: Despite all the volatility this year, Bitcoin is up about 17% in 2025.

Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: U.S.–China trade negotiations have a significant impact on Bitcoin for several reasons, including Bitcoin’s evolving role as a macro hedge.

  • During recent escalations in the trade war, Bitcoin has outperformed traditional assets as investors sought alternatives.

  • When trade negotiations stall or tensions rise, market participants often become more cautious, sometimes leading to volatility or sell-offs in both equities and crypto.

Final Thoughts: If the trade talks fall apart, that could be bad for Bitcoin
