Apple Finally Eyes China AI 🍎

After being stuck in regulatory scrutiny for years, Apple $AAPL ( ▲ 0.5% ) is reportedly about to finally launch Apple Intelligence in China later this year. The stock ticked up 0.54% in after-hours trading on Wednesday.

Details: Bloomberg reported on Wednesday that Apple has resolved some regulatory issues in China and can now launch Apple Intelligence in the country during an upcoming update in December.

  • The report said that the launch will not include the new Siri AI assistant.

Background: Apple experienced an early-2026 sales surge in China driven by the iPhone 17 lineup and government subsidies, though it faced a temporary 9% year-over-year pullback in Q2 due to local competition and seasonal slowdowns.

Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: A China AI launch would likely help Apple defend iPhone sales more than create a large new upgrade wave in the near term.

Final Thoughts: Apple’s stock is up 26.55% this year. The company is expected to report its financial results on November 2.
