Visa's "Healthy Consumer Spending"
Visa $V ( ▼ 1.62% ) released good financial earnings results on Tuesday, writing that it saw “healthy consumer spending,” which boosted the stock by 0.43% in after-hours trading.
Financials: Visa reported earnings of $2.98 per share in the past quarter and revenue of $10.7 billion. Both were better than expected.
Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: Visa’s read on consumer spending is well-grounded in financial and macro trends, pointing to resilient consumption activity in the U.S. and globally. However, future risks from slowing discretionary demand and holiday caution remain worth watching.
Final Thoughts: Visa’s stock has been up a modest 10% this year.
