Tesla's "Near-Term Uncertainty"

Tesla $TSLA ( ▼ 0.82% ) posted mixed financial earnings results on Wednesday, sending the stock down 3.80% in after-hours trading.

Financials: Tesla reported earnings of 50 cents per share in the past quarter, which were lower than expected. Revenue reached $28.09 billion, which was better than expected.

Quote: “While we face near-term uncertainty from shifting trade, tariff and fiscal policy, we are focused on long-term growth and value creation.” - Tesla in its earnings release.

Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: Investors should not panic, but near-term caution is warranted. Tesla’s fundamentals remain sound, yet trade and fiscal policy turbulence, particularly in U.S.-China relations and post-incentive EV demand, make earnings less predictable into early 2026.

Final Thoughts: Tesla’s stock was only up about 1% in the last 30 days.
