PayPal's Total Payment Volume
PayPal (Nasdaq: PYPL) climbed 3.95% in after-hours trading on Wednesday after reporting good financial results.
Financials: PayPal reported earnings of $1.30 per share in the past quarter and revenue of $7.4 billion; both were better than expected.
Powering the Story: Total payment volume grew 15% in the quarter. The company now expects full-year revenue to rise by 6% to 7%.
Final Thoughts: PayPal also appointed a new CFO on Thursday to join its recently hired CEO. The stock might be down 30% this year, but with a new CEO and now finally a new CFO, investors are hopeful about the future.

Roku Keeps Growing Active Accounts
Although Roku (Nasdaq: ROKU) announced a greater loss than expected on Wednesday, the stock surged 18.43% in after-hours trading after the company reported a big jump in active accounts.
Final Thoughts: Roku, up 47% this year, also raised its revenue guidance for the current quarter.
DoorDash Increases Total Orders
DoorDash (Nasdaq: DASH) posted mixed financial results on Wednesday, but the stock still jumped 8.02% in after-hours trading after the company reported that its total orders grew by 24%.
Final Thoughts: DoorDash, up 56% this year, also produced a better-than-expected outlook for earnings.
