Palantir Technologies (Nasdaq: PLTR) surged 22.75% in after-hours trading on Monday after reporting strong financial earnings results.

Financials: Palantir reported earnings of 14 cents per share and revenue of $827.5 million in the past quarter; both were better than expected.

NXP Faces "Challenging Market"

Although the financial earnings results from NXP Semiconductors (Nasdaq: NXPI) were far from perfect on Monday, the stock still rose 2.33% in after-hours trading.

Financials: NXP reported earnings of $3.18 per share and revenue of $3.11 billion; both were better than expected.

Powering the Story: Revenue fell 9% in the quarter. CEO Kurt Sievers said Monday that the company faced “a challenging market environment.”

Final Thoughts: NXP is down 7% in the last 12 months. Weaker demand for automotive chips is hurting the stock.

Sui Jumps Amid Accelerator News

The price of the cryptocurrency Sui jumped 20% on Monday after its blockchain accelerator program received over 600 applications.
