How to Own a Slice of The Fastest Growing Industry… E-commerce
“It doesn't matter how hard you row, it matters which boat you get in.” - Warren Buffet
Warren Buffet understands that choosing a market is the most important decision when picking an investment vehicle. The bigger the boat (aka the market), the easier it will be to grow your business.
Details: The e-commerce industry will produce $1.2 trillion in 2024 alone, according to Statista. Five years from now, the annual e-commerce market is expected to grow from $1.2 trillion to $1.88 trillion.
Bigger Picture: The market is growing faster than ever because big companies such as Amazon and Walmart make it easier to purchase products. Due to these marketplaces wanting as many sellers as possible, the barrier of entry to join the e-commerce space is very low, resulting in intense competition.
Yes, But: if you don’t have the proper strategy, you will get burned by wholesalers, manufacturers, and warehouses.
Solution: Partner with ClickProfit.io, the leading e-commerce done-for-you agency to build, manage and scale your very own e-commerce portfolio.
Boeing's 'Transformational Change'
Amid one of the worst years for Boeing (NYSE: BA), a top executive at the aviation giant said a “transformational change” is underway to increase production and safety at the company.
Details: Stephanie Pope, the new commercial planes chief for Boeing, told reporters at the Farnborough Airshow on Sunday that the company is seeing "significant improvement in the flow of our 737 factory” by ramping up production.
Production on the Boeing MAX slipped into the mid-20s per month in the first half of the year, according to CNBC.
Pope said the company will rev up production to around 38 per month by the end of 2024, according to Reuters.
Background: Boeing’s ongoing safety fiasco has caused massive delays in the production and delivery of planes, which Pope said “disappointed” customers.
Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: Boeing’s many safety failures in 2024 have been documented by Early Bird Prime. However, things might be improving for the company. Since June, Boeing released a new safety plan and agreed to plead guilty to a felony fraud charge.
Those reforms are helping the stock, which is up 1.76% in the last 30 days.
Final Thoughts: Boeing reports its earnings on July 31. Grab your popcorn because it should be interesting to watch.
