Bitcoin's Fed Cut Reaction 🔍
Bitcoin's $BTC.X ( â–˛ 0.35% ) price dipped less than 1% on Wednesday after the Federal Reserve cut interest rates by 25 basis points and signaled further cuts ahead.
Details: The Fed’s decision was expected. Most investors anticipated this outcome and decided to take profits and sell, which caused the price of Bitcoin to drop.
Price: Bitcoin’s price is up about 2% over the last week. But if you look over the past 30 days, Bitcoin’s price is flat. It’s been one of the most lackluster months for Bitcoin in 2025.
Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: The Fed’s rate cut is expected to impact Bitcoin's price in the short term, likely leading to a period of range-bound trading and elevated volatility over the next few days to weeks.
There could be more volatility if it isn’t clear what the Fed may do next with rate cuts.
For now, expect continued choppiness and sharp moves, with broader breakouts dependent on macroeconomic clarity and renewed investor confidence.
Final Thoughts: As Bitcoin slipped a bit on Wednesday, most other cryptocurrency prices ticked up. Perhaps some investors view altcoins as more favorable in the short term?
