Google Cloud's $460B Backlog πŸš€

Google parent Alphabet $GOOGL ( β–² 0.05% ) jumped 7.24% in after-hours trading on Wednesday after posting financial earnings results that included a 63% increase in Google Cloud revenue and a backlog that has doubled to $460 billion.

Financials: Alphabet reported earnings of $5.11 per share in the past quarter and revenue of $109.9 billion. Both were better than expected.

Despite posting good financial earnings results on Wednesday, a higher forecast for capital expenditures caused shares of Facebook parent Meta Platforms $META ( β–Ό 0.33% ) to fall 7.01% in after-hours trading.

Financials: Meta reported earnings of $10.44 per share in the past quarter and revenue of $56.31 billion. Both were better than expected.

Final Thoughts: The company now expects $125 billion to $145 billion in capital expenditures for 2026 to build out AI capabilities.

Amazon Posts Good Results

Good financial earnings results boosted Amazon $AMZN ( β–² 1.29% ) by 2.74% in after-hours trading on Wednesday.

Financials: Amazon reported earnings of $2.78 per share in the past quarter and revenue of $181.5 billion. Both were better than expected.
