Starbucks Sees China Turnaround

Despite posting mixed financial earnings results on Tuesday, Starbucks $SBUX ( ▼ 0.22% ) jumped 4.61% in after-hours trading after disclosing that same-store sales in China grew 2%.

Financials: Starbucks reported earnings of 50 cents per share in the past quarter, which were lower than expected. Revenue was $9.5 billion, which was better than expected.

Financials: Visa reported earnings of $2.98 per share and revenue of $10.2 billion in the past quarter. Both were better than expected.

LendingClub $LC ( ▲ 21.21% ) surged by 25.10% in after-hours trading after posting strong financial earnings results on Tuesday.

Financials: LendingClub reported earnings of 33 cents per share and revenue of $248.4 million in the past quarter. Both were better than expected.

Final Thoughts: The stock was previously down 18% this year.
