Oracle's "Even Better" Outlook 📈
Oracle $ORCL ( ▲ 13.31% ) jumped 7.58% in after-hours trading on Wednesday after the computer technology company posted strong financial earnings results.
Financials: Oracle reported earnings of $1.70 per share and revenue of $15.9 billion in the past quarter. Both were better than expected.
Details: Cloud revenue jumped 27% in the quarter. Cloud infrastructure revenue soared 52%.
Quote: "FY25 was a very good year—but we believe FY26 will be even better as our revenue growth rates will be dramatically higher. We expect our total cloud growth rate—applications plus infrastructure—will increase from 24% in FY25 to over 40% in FY26. Cloud Infrastructure growth rate is expected to increase from 50% in FY25 to over 70% in FY26. And RPO is likely to grow more than 100% in FY26.” - Oracle CEO Safra Catz.

Google-OpenAI Deal Lifts CoreWeave
CoreWeave $CRWV ( ▼ 0.49% ) jumped 2.82% in after-hours trading on Wednesday after a report indicated that the cloud computing startup will emerge as a winner in the new partnership between Google parent Alphabet $GOOGL ( ▼ 0.93% ) and OpenAI.
Details: Reuters reported Wednesday that CoreWeave will provide computing capacity to Google’s cloud unit, and then Alphabet will sell that computing capacity to OpenAI. In all, CoreWeave will benefit.
Background: In May, CoreWeave posted its first financial results since going public earlier this year. The financial results were mixed as revenue was good, but the company reported a bigger-than-expected loss.
Final Thoughts: CoreWeave is up 274% (wow!) since going public in 2025.
GameStop’s New Private Offering
GameStop $GME ( ▼ 22.45% ) plunged 11.24% in after-hours trading on Wednesday after the company announced a proposed private offering of $1.75 billion in convertible notes.
Details: The company will use the funds from the new offering to make investments…which means GameStop might buy more Bitcoin $BTC.X ( ▼ 2.42% ) .
Background: Yesterday, GameStop reported that its sales declined in the past quarter.
Final Thoughts: GameStop’s stock was down nearly 7% this year.
