Micron Hits "Record Revenue" 🚀
After posting strong financial earnings results on Wednesday, the computer memory and data storage company Micron $MU ( â–Ľ 0.98% ) ticked up 0.94% in after-hours trading.
Financials: Micron reported earnings of $1.91 per share and revenue of $9.3 billion in the past quarter. Both were better than expected.
Quote: “Micron delivered record revenue in fiscal Q3, driven by all-time-high DRAM revenue, including nearly 50% sequential growth in HBM revenue. Data center revenue more than doubled year-over-year and reached a quarterly record.” - CEO Sanjay Mehrotra.
Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: Despite these positive results, the stock’s reaction in after-hours trading was lackluster, with shares quickly giving up initial gains and ending up only slightly higher.
With Micron’s stock trading near record highs and market sentiment already very bullish, much of the good news may have been priced in.
While some analysts praise Micron’s outlook, others remain cautious.
Final Thoughts: The stock is up over 45% this year, including a 32% gain in the last 30 days.
