Best International Stock Picks

Here’s a deep dive into the most promising stocks outside of the U.S., according to Mike Darkowski, CEO and founder of Scrab.com, in a new episode of the Early Bird podcast.

Definition: Some investors suffer from Home Bias, according to Darkowski, which is when investors are only focused on domestic stocks. Investors should also look at international stocks.

Semi Good: If you like semiconductor companies, Darkowski suggests keeping an eye on Infineon Technologies (FRA: IFX). The company is based in Germany but serves companies around the world, including those in the United States. Darkowski said that the company is improving its profitability, has a good valuation, and has lower levels of debt.

Big Bet: Then there’s the lottery and sports betting company Greek Organisation of Football Prognostics ADR (OTCMKTS: GOFPY). Darkowski said that this Greece-based company doubled its revenue over the last three years.

Going Fishing: Keep an eye on the farmed salmon company SalMar ASA (SALM.OL). Darkowski said that this Norway-based company gets half of its revenue from its home country, so it could be a nice way to diversify a portfolio.

Final Thoughts: What other stocks does Darkowski recommend that investors look at right now? Listen to a new episode of the Early Bird podcast to find out.
