Powered by strong iPhone sales, Apple $AAPL ( ▼ 0.71% ) jumped 2.42% in after-hours trading on Thursday after posting strong financial earnings results.
Financials: Apple reported earnings of $1.57 per share and revenue of $94 billion in the past quarter. Both were better than expected.

Amazon’s AWS Sales Underwhelm
Despite posting good financial earnings results on Thursday, Amazon $AMZN ( ▲ 1.7% ) fell 6.63% in after-hours trading.
Financials: Amazon reported earnings of $1.68 per share and revenue of $167.7 billion in the past quarter. Both were better than expected.
Powering the Story: Sales for AWS (the company’s cloud computing offering) grew 17.5%, which failed to impress investors.
Final Thoughts: Investors were also disappointed in the company’s operating income outlook for the current quarter.
Coinbase’s Disappointing Results Stop 2025 Momentum
The cryptocurrency platform Coinbase Global $COIN ( ▲ 0.07% ) fell 9.23% in after-hours trading on Thursday after reporting disappointing financial earnings results.
Financials: Coinbase reported earnings of 12 cents per share and revenue of $1.4 billion in the past quarter. Both were lower than expected.
Final Thoughts: The results were a setback after the stock had gone up 46% this year.
