Investors of American Eagle Outfitters $AEO ( ▲ 37.96% ) haven’t had a lot to cheer about this year as the stock was down 20%, but it surged 24.74% in after-hours trading on Wednesday following the company’s good financial earnings results.
Financials: American Eagle Outfitters reported earnings of 45 cents per share and revenue of $1.28 billion. Both were better than expected.

Salesforce Posts Weak Outlook
Despite posting good financial earnings results on Wednesday, Salesforce $CRM ( ▼ 4.85% ) fell 5.58% in after-hours trading.
Financials: Salesforce reported earnings of $2.91 per share and revenue of $10.2 billion in the past quarter. Both were better than expected.
Outlook: The problem was the revenue guidance. Salesforce expects revenue in the current quarter to be between $10.24 billion and $10.29 billion, which was lower than what analysts predicted.
Final Thoughts: Salesforce was already down 22% this year.
C3.ai Reports Disappointing Results
C3.ai $AI ( ▼ 7.31% ) fell 10.85% in after-hours trading on Wednesday after the company reported bad financial results.
Financials: C3.ai reported a loss of 37 cents per share and revenue of $70.3 million in the past quarter. Both were lower than expected.
Final Thoughts: The stock has lost over half its value in 2025.
