Amid the hostile takeover involving Warner Bros. Discovery $WBD ( ▼ 0.76% ), the media giant is reportedly set to make a recommendation about its future.

Details: The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday that Warner Bros. will tell its shareholders as soon as today to reject Paramount Skydance’s $PSKY ( ▼ 3.61% ) latest offer. The company’s leadership is supporting the previously announced deal with Netflix $NFLX ( ▲ 1.87% ).

Background: Netflix offered to buy the company at $27.75 per share. Paramount’s deal was for $30 per share.

Stock Prices: Netflix ticked up 0.76% in after-hours trading. Warner Bros. fell 0.52% in after-hours trading, and Paramount Skydance declined by 0.75%.

Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: Warner Bros. is preparing to reject Paramount Skydance’s offer, mainly because the board does not trust the financing and dislikes key terms and risks in the proposal, even though the headline price is higher.

Financials: Lennar reported earnings of $2.03 per share in the past quarter, which were lower than expected. Revenue was $9.4 billion, which was better than expected.

Details: The earnings miss was partly attributed to a one-time expense of $156 million due to a spinoff.

Outlook: Lennar’s current quarter outlook for orders, deliveries, and the average sales price was lower than expected.

The ticketing marketplace StubHub $STUB ( ▲ 3.84% ) jumped 3.92% in after-hours trading on Tuesday after announcing new direct issuance partnerships to increase the company’s presence in local markets.

Final Thoughts: StubHub is down over 28% since going public this year.
