Stitch Fix $SIX ( ▼ 3.44% ) is closing in on a comeback. The online personal styling service surged 19.40% in after-hours trading on Tuesday after posting improved financial results.

Financials: Stitch Fix reported a loss of 5 cents per share and revenue of $312.1 million in the past quarter, both of which were better than expected.

Details: Revenue is declining, but the company is doing better than feared. The stock fell after the pandemic ended, but is up 77% in the last 12 months. Investors were pleased.

Outlook: Stitch Fix said revenue in the current quarter will be between $311 million to $316 million, which is also better than expected.

  • The company has made significant cost reductions, including layoffs and the closure of its U.K. business and distribution center.
