NXP's "Cautious Optimism" Fails
Despite posting good financial earnings results on Monday, NXP Semiconductors $NXPI ( ▼ 0.37% ) fell 7.26% in after-hours trading.
Financials: NXP reported earnings of $2.64 per share and revenue of $2.84 billion in the past quarter. Both were better than expected.
Powering the Story: The company said its guidance for the current quarter comes from “a cautious optimism” due to challenging market conditions.
