Nvidia Survives China Controls 🚀
Semiconductor giant Nvidia $NVDA ( ▼ 2.92% ) jumped 4.89% in after-hours trading on Wednesday, and it wasn’t just because of its strong financial results that were released.
Financials: Nvidia reported earnings of 81 cents per share and revenue of $44.1 billion in the past quarter. Both were better than expected.
Background: In April, the Trump administration told Nvidia that it required a license to export its H20 chips to China. The company was expected to incur a $5.5 billion charge due to China export controls.
Powering the Story: It turns out that Nvidia only incurred a charge of $4.5 billion because it was able to reuse certain materials, the company said Wednesday.
Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: Although the new tariffs are historically high and causing significant economic pain and business disruption, they have not halted the momentum of AI adoption.
Final Thoughts: After a bad start to 2025, it seems that Nvidia’s stock recovered its losses.
He’s already IPO’d once – this time’s different
Spencer Rascoff grew Zillow from seed to IPO. But everyday investors couldn’t join until then, missing early gains. So he did things differently with Pacaso. They’ve made $110M+ in gross profits disrupting a $1.3T market. And after reserving the Nasdaq ticker PCSO, you can join for $2.80/share until 5/29.
This is a paid advertisement for Pacaso’s Regulation A offering. Please read the offering circular at invest.pacaso.com. Reserving a ticker symbol is not a guarantee that the company will go public. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals. Under Regulation A+, a company has the ability to change its share price by up to 20%, without requalifying the offering with the SEC.
