MongoDB Surges Amid Atlas Growth
Shares of the software company MongoDB $MDB ( ▼ 1.88% ) skyrocketed 30.51% in after-hours trading on Tuesday after reporting strong financial earnings results.
Financials: MongoDB reported earnings of $1 per share and revenue of $591.4 million in the past quarter. Both were better than expected.
Outlook: Following the strong quarter, MongoDB raised its full-year outlook for earnings and revenue.
Powering the Story: Revenue for Atlas, the company’s developer data platform, surged 29%. It accounts for 74% of the total revenue for MongoDB.
