Goldman Sachs' Alternative Plan
Goldman Sachs Group $GS ( ▲ 2.93% ) ticked up 1.04% in after-hours trading on Monday after acquiring the venture capital platform Industry Ventures with plans to grow its alternatives business.
Details: The Industry Ventures platform will be integrated into Goldman Sachs’ external manager platform, the External Investing Group (XIG). It will benefit Goldman Sachs’ global client base, who have assets such as alternative investments.
Background: Industry Ventures is a pioneer in venture secondary investing and early-stage hybrid funds.
Stock Price: Goldman Sachs is up 36.84% in 2025, a good year for the big banks.
Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: The move aligns Goldman Sachs with broader structural shifts in the capital markets, where technology and AI innovation are reshaping opportunities.
Goldman Sachs investors stand to benefit from expanded access to the fastest-growing segments of the private tech market, enhanced fee-driven business lines, and a leadership position at the intersection of venture capital, alternatives, and technology innovation.
Final Thoughts: We’ll hear more from Goldman Sachs today as the banking giant reports its financial earnings results in the morning.
Wyoming is on the Verge of Becoming A Lithium Powerhouse
America needs 5X more lithium by 2035, but no new mines have opened since 1967. Meanwhile, current extraction methods are slow, waste insane amounts of water, and emit loads of carbon.
So Vero3 devised a way to cleanly produce lithium, generate clean water and permanently store carbon in the process – all from the same 14,000-acre Wyoming site.
This first-of-its-kind project is already validated by $25M in historical funding and projects $183M in annual profit.
This unique project offers exposure to three different markets, each covering a critical need for America. And shares are now open to the public ahead of commercial trials and a targeted 2028 Nasdaq IPO.
This is a paid advertisement for Vero3 Limited’s Regulation CF offering. Please read the offering circular at https://invest.vero3.com/. Timelines are subject to change. Listing on the NASDAQ is contingent upon necessary approvals, and reserving a ticker symbol does not guarantee a company’s public listing.

Hyperliquid’s Network Upgrade
The price of the cryptocurrency Hyperliquid jumped about 7% on Monday after the blockchain launched its HIP-3 network upgrade.
Powering the Story: According to CoinDesk, the upgrade allows anyone to create their own perpetual decentralized exchanges for trading crypto, making Hyperliquid a permissionless platform for all derivatives.
Definition: A permissionless platform allows anyone to independently create, trade, or provide liquidity for any derivative asset.
Yes, But: There’s a catch. The cost for doing this is 500,000 Hyperliquid tokens, which currently translates to approximately $21.5 million.
Final Thoughts: Hyperliquid’s price has nearly doubled this year, although it is down about 20% in the last 30 days.
