Cava’s Same Restaurant Sales

Cava Group $CAVA ( ▲ 2.67% ) , the Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant brand, plummeted 22.37% in after-hours trading on Tuesday after reporting mixed financial earnings results.

Financials: Cava reported earnings of 16 cents per share in the past quarter, which was better than expected. But revenue was only $278.2 million, which was lower than expected.

Powering the Story: Same restaurant sales only grew 2.1% in the quarter, which was lower than expected. The company said guest traffic was “flat” during the quarter and lowered its full-year financial outlook.

Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: Cava's decline in same-restaurant sales momentum is somewhat part of a broader trend of slower growth or consumer pullback seen in parts of the fast casual industry in 2025, although Cava is relatively stronger than many peers.

Final Thoughts: It’s been a bad year for Cava’s stock. It was already down 26%.

CoreWeave Reports Bigger Loss

The cloud computing company CoreWeave $CRWV ( ▲ 6.42% ) had been on fire since going public this year, but the stock fell 10.42% in after-hours trading on Tuesday due to weak financial results.

Details: CoreWeave reported a loss of 60 cents per share and revenue of $1.21 billion in the past quarter. Both were lower than expected.

Final Thoughts: The stock has been up over 200% since its IPO. Will these weak results cause the company to lose its momentum?

The price of Chainlink $LINK.X ( ▲ 13.8% ) surged about 12% on Tuesday, surpassing the gains of other major cryptocurrencies that day.

Price Details: In the past week, Chainlink’s price has been up by over 40%.

Powering the Story: On Monday, Chainlink formed a partnership with Intercontinental Exchange $ICE ( ▼ 1.72% ) to bring high-quality forex and precious metals data on-chain. This expands Chainlink’s real-world data offerings and is seen as a positive development for the network.

Final Thoughts: Larger holders of crypto, called “whales,” are also driving the price up by increasing their Chainlink holdings.
