Apple's Thinner iPhone Plan 📱
Amid a slump in iPhone sales, Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) is reportedly planning a major redesign for its most popular device.
Details: The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday that Apple plans to introduce an iPhone in 2025 that will be thinner and cheaper than its current Pro models.
Also: Bloomberg also reported Sunday that Apple wants to release a foldable 18.8-inch creaseless iPad by about 2028.
Background: These reports come as sales for the iPhone have fallen in recent years. The iPhone accounts for about half of Apple’s overall revenue.
Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: Apple's iPhones are too high quality and last too long, leading to slower upgrade cycles.
At the same time, the pace of new features in iPhones has slowed, making upgrades less appealing.
iPhone sales are down in China as the company faces increased competition.
Final Thoughts: Despite disappointing iPhone sales, Apple’s stock is up 33.66% this year. Imagine how well the stock would have performed if iPhone sales had been better.
