Meta's "Superintelligence" Goal
Facebook parent Meta Platforms $META ( ▲ 11.25% ) soared 11.49% in after-hours trading on Wednesday after reporting good financial earnings results with a new AI vision.
Financials: Meta reported earnings of $7.14 per share and revenue of $47.52 billion in the past quarter. Both were better than expected.
Powering the Story: As part of Wednesday’s earnings announcement, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said he wants “to build personal superintelligence for everyone in the world.”

Microsoft's $4 Trillion Market Cap
Microsoft $MSFT ( ▲ 3.95% ) jumped 8.28% in after-hours trading on Wednesday, pushing the market cap past $4 trillion following good financial earnings results.
Financials: Microsoft reported earnings of $3.65 per share and revenue of $76.4 billion in the past quarter. Both were better than expected.
Final Thoughts: It was a strong quarter for Microsoft, especially its Azure division, which grew revenue by 34%.
Tron Drops on Wednesday
The cryptocurrency Tron $TRX.X ( ▼ 0.44% ) fell by about 3% on Wednesday amid a pullback in digital assets.
