Gold Investing Guide 2026
The price of gold reached an all-time high in January before slipping. A group of experts explains what happens next with gold in a new episode of the Early Bird podcast.
Details: Gold prices have been so volatile in early 2026 due to geopolitical risks. A re-ordering of U.S. foreign policy and a fragile U.S. dollar have led investors to alternatives, such as gold.
The gold price drop in late January can be attributed to long-term holders taking profits.
Powering the Story: Gold is a buffer against bad news, such as inflation and instability in competing markets. Increased geopolitical risks are usually good for gold prices.
Yes, But: If geopolitical issues get resolved, then gold prices could decline.
Final Thoughts: Where could gold prices go in 2026? Find out by listening to a new episode of the Early Bird podcast.
