Bitcoin’s New Support Level
The price of Bitcoin $BTC ( ▼ 0.65% ) fell about 1% on Monday, a reminder that while the most popular cryptocurrency is still below its recent highs, it has found a new level of support.
Definition: A support level in trading is a price point or zone where an asset's downward trend pauses because buyer demand overwhelms selling supply, acting like a “floor” that's hard for the price to drop below.
Background: Bitcoin reached an all-time high price of about $124,000 in early October, but then dropped about 32% to $84,000 in late November. The price later ticked up to about $90,000 for a few days, but it hasn’t dropped below that $84,000 level since.
Early Bird’s Nest Egg Gains: Bitcoin’s support down around $84,000 is generally a good sign for now because buyers keep stepping in there, but it can become bad if those levels break convincingly.
Final Thoughts: Bitcoin is negative for 2025, with a drop of about 5%.

Hold a slice of wealth in alternatives that tend not to move with equities.
The catch? Most alternatives aren’t open to everyday investors
