Virgin Galactic's Cash Power

Shares of Virgin Galactic (Nasdaq: SPCE) jumped 1.6% in after-hours trading on Tuesday after the spaceflight company posted mixed earnings.

Financials: Virgin Galactic reported a loss of 31 cents per share and revenue of about $272,000; both were below expectations.

Cash: Although Virgin Galactic is still not in revenue mode yet, the company said that its cash position remains strong at $931 million. The company is on track for the launch of its private commercial service in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Debt: The company got $425 million through a convertible debt offering in January.

Final Thoughts: Shares of Virgin Galactic are down 82% in the past year. Is this a time for investors to buy the dip or wait for better days?

Palo Alto Networks Rises Due To Strong Cybersecurity Demand

Shares of Palo Alto Networks (Nasdaq: PANW) increased 6.41% in after-hours trading on Tuesday after the cybersecurity company posted positive earnings.

Financials: Palo Alto Networks reported $1.74 per share and $1.3 billion in revenue; both were better than expected.

Guidance: The company projects revenue in the current quarter between $1.345 billion and $1.365 billion, which is a growth between 25% and 27%. This guidance was better than expected.
